Anna became an Airline Pilot in May 2006, as 1 out of the 6 female in the industry in Singapore then. In Apr 2012, Anna was promoted to Pilot In Command, becoming the youngest Singaporean Captain at 29. She is type rated on Airbus A320 and Airbus A330 - of up to 300 passenger capacity. As a National Cadet Corp (NCC) Air Cadet from 1996-2001, Anna was awarded the most outstanding Cadet Lieutenant. In 1998, Anna was the youngest cadet to represent Singapore in the International Air Cadet Exchange (IACE) program in Canada. In 1999, she was sent to India for a Glider Pilot course for a month. In 2000, Anna also attended the Basic Airborne Course (BAC) with the Singapore Commandos. In 2001, she became the first female appointed as Parade Commander for NCC's 100th Anniversary Centenary Parade graced by Singapore Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. Till today, Anna volunteers in Project "1S2S" a citizen giving-back project to send the first Singaporean to Space (1S2S) using a stratospheric ballon. Through her merit, grit and leadership, Anna is currently the designated Chief of Staff, down selected from 150 pilot candidates nation-wide, spearheading the next 2-man flight to cross the Armstrong Line into Space for Singapore.
