I manage 12 drivers and trucks. I find them loads and make sure they are where they need to be and communicate between them and brokers if any problems arise. I also deal with everyday issues like lumpers, repairs, keeping track of HOS, and making sure they get their home time as well. I'm also on call for them every other night and weekends.

I spent 4 years Over the Road with my Husband. I helped with his paperwork and logs. I learned a great deal about the struggles drivers face on a daily basis all while being held to a 14 hour day. The long waits they endure at shipper and receivers, Dispatchers that are booking loads that are difficult to make, and trying to find safe places to park. So overall I believe this experience has given me the right perspective to be a good dispatcher. To lookout for my company but to also look out for and take care of my drivers.

At Southside Cleaners I managed the entire operation of one store. I made schedules for the customer service employees. Over saw the production of our cleaning and pressing staff . And handled all customer complaints about their clothing. As well as overseeing our driver for our delivery service.
