For more than 25 years, our team has honed our skills in complex right of way acquisition for pipelines and critical public infrastructure projects in the Gulf States and beyond.As Title Manager, I am responsible for managing multiple right-of-way, acquisition, and utility projects including coordinating the quality control, schedule of the project, and providing status updates as necessary. Other responsibilities include:· Assists in managing schedules for ensuring project stays within the projected specifications.· Reviews title files that the abstractor produces, ensuring all information is accurate and in the correct format.· Creates and manages acquisition correspondence, offers, signed agreements, and/or filed suits.· Ensures compliance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. · Assists in facilitating, troubleshooting, and resolving problems associated with contracts, clients, title disputes, budgets, and scheduling.

During the time I worked as an independent oil and gas abstracter, through Brousseau Abstracting, Inc., I worked with some great oil and gas brokers. Just to name a few, Tag Galloway with Thomas A. Galloway & Associates out of Hammond, Louisiana, Gary Salmon with HPS Oil & Gas Properties, Inc., and Lyle Gremillion with Gremillion Abstract Company out of Lafayette, Louisiana.I also had the privilege of working as an oil and gas paralegal for William S. Strain, one of the most prominent oil and gas attorneys in the State of Louisiana. I worked with Bill from 2010 to 2013, and I learned so much from him about oil and gas law during my time working with him.
