My career is multifaceted giving me a tremendous range of skills and experience mainly in the creative industry. A Fine Arts degree in Canada was the start of a Theatre Design & Production career. Whilst at the Edinburgh International Festival with a Canadian production, the Festival offered me the position of assistant Production Manager, which I held for 3 years before returning to Canada to start my own international touring company.After a brief period in Canada I returned to the UK to have a family. In 2002 I returned to the workforce as Project Manager for Live Music Now SW, and followed this with the Senior Project Management role at SUPERACT CIC. Both companies have a remit to develop creative programming for those on the fringes of the community aimed at increasing well being, social interaction and self-worth.Most recently I developed and managed Exe-Arts, an openly accessible programme of creative activity for the whole community in Exeter. Exe-Arts brings together professional artists with the community offering short taster courses in different art forms.
