I was trained and Certified in Color Analysis. I learned Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary applications on the color wheel, and their color derivatives. I learned the Psychology and the Emotion of each color, and how it can elevate your mood, or make you feel inadequate. I love the joy of color and how it is used daily. First, a person's skin tone is identified. From there, the colors are selected carefully and presented to the client as their own personal color chart. Each individual has very obvious colors that are powerful and unique. In Color Analysis, if you choose a wrong shade in make-up or clothing, you don't feel "right", even though "visually" you liked that color. The wrong color choice can age you, make you appear unhealthy, and unhappy! You feel "off your game", and no one wants that! With this knowledge, I soon became a Personal Shopper for my clients. I went on shopping excursions with my clients for wardrobe selection and dressing for success. My experience in color also helped my clients with paint selection for their homes and the rooms in it. I was also hired to accompany some clients to car dealerships, where I suggested what interior and exterior colors would enhance them. Sounds strange, but once you've had your colors analyzed, you won't make wrong choices with surrounding yourself in color, ever again. I was the Stylist for Montaque Photographers. I worked on the set or scene, styling his live models, stills, and videos. I was called in to detail the scenes before the shot was taken. You have to have a keen eye to notice and eliminate mistakes and foreign, unwanted, material on the set. That was my job... to clean up the scene before Photographer(s) Art Directors, and Makeup Artists and their crew began filming.
