Knowledge of implementation, communication and coordination of environmental, health, and safety programs for compliance with regulations and to support company objectives.Manage the resources and activities to support the HSE programs by providing advice and guidance to production engineering, manufacturing, assembly, quality and maintenance.Actively participate in the plant meetings and continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness to create a culture that value safety and balances operational cost.Conduct hazard and risk assessments and make changes/recommendations as needed from these assessments.Serve as the company representative within the field of HSE as needed to address regulatory agency compliance issues and aspects of continuous improvement.Assist with safety purchases and monitor departmental budget responsibilities.Provide regular written reports, as well as other safety-related communication papers and updates to Management and all other employees.Assist in investigation of all safety and environmental incidents (Recordable Incidents, Workers Compensation, Near-miss, First Aid, Chemical spills, etc.) and ensure proper records are completed and submitted. Assist in implementation of corrective actions as determined after investigation. Develop, coordinate and deliver training programs to promote safe practices and create awarenessParticipate/attend industry related conferences and organizations to stay abreast of technical and professional aspects of this position.Manage guidelines and programs to satisfy ISO 14001/18001 certifications , internal and external audits.
