Performed the PMO role for The Feld Group for the Frontplane Performance Measurement Reporting System project in support of their IT methodology for how IT departments should be run. Project Manager for a project to bring a division of the Capital One Financial Institution to Y2K compliance within a four (4) month lead-time. The project also included developing and implementing the on-going maintenance process and developing and coordinating the Zero Day Plan, the Events Management Committee, the Communications Committee, and the Freeze Exception Committee. The technology used was MS Access, MS SQL, Seagate Info Reports, and MS Visual Basic. Responsibilities included educating the IT and MIS personnel in the Y2K compliance process, adapting the corporate methodology to the local environment, creating and executing a detailed project plan through the inventory, assessment, renovation, testing, implementation, and maintenance phases, mitigating risk, conducting user training, and ensuring the entire process was well documented.

Technical Area Manager for a team of Lotus Notes and Web developers in the development and support of commercial and government projects. Responsibility for an overall budget up to $5 million dollars. All projects followed either the Traditional Full Life Cycle or Rapid Application Development methodologies at SEI Level III compliance. Projects included: developing and supporting the award winning Glenn Asset Management Information System which integrated: Lotus Notes, GroupWare, MapInfo Geographic Information System, Oracle Relational Database, A-Series Database, InfoPump Database Connector, Lotus Notes ViP, and Harvard Graphics; analyzing the production environment for a large Dallas Long Distance Telephone Company and providing suggestions for improvement and documenting the methods and procedures; developed the OPM Open Season Web Site, developed the NIH Office Of Science Education website.
