Omicron is an integrated development, design and construction firm delivering services in A Better Way to buildings construction across Western Canada. In leading day-to-day People & Culture initiatives, I was responsible for supporting 25 managers across 7 industries in:• Onboarding and offboarding: managing full-cycle recruitment, amending EA templates for ESA compliance, revamping onboarding across two offices, supporting the restructuring of Omicron’s largest 61-person team, processing exits and recommending retention strategies through turnover analysis• Learning and development: improving the L&D request process, managing approvals, implementing budget tracking, and developing online training modules in Articulate to reduce third-party provider costs• Performance management: developing assessment tools and PIPs, guiding managers through performance conversations, and working with internal and external partners to develop a PM system• Compensation: conducting annual market research and salary range updates, hosting manager review meetings, and recommending comp changes• Employee benefits: processing disability and change requests, promoting EAP resources, hosting lunch and learns, and developing a benefits overview resource• Employee relations: providing ESA guidance to managers, responding to employee enquiries, conducting investigations, and liaising with Omicron’s employment lawyer on matters requiring escalation• Efficiencies: improving record keeping and reporting within HRIS, and creating departmental efficiencies through process forms, letter templates and SOPs• Employee engagement: acting as an E&E Committee member organizing employee and community-based events, supporting IDEA Committee initiatives, and creating intranet channels and activities to foster a strong culture• Parent company support: liaising with Nexii Building Solutions to support audits and LTIP launch, and prep for integration of systems and employee benefits

Provident10 delivers plan administration service and oversees management of Newfoundland and Labrador's $10 billion Public Service Pension Plan (PSPP) investment portfolio.
