I’m an instructor, facilitator and in-house consultant for a variety of classes and programs including personal growth and career path development, leadership development, customer service, adult learning, conflict resolution, team building and communication for the Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS). In addition, I’ve served as Co-Chairperson on the Instructor Development Subject Matter Expert (SME) committee for the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training (AZPOST) Board and is the DPS facilitator for the AZPOST General Instructor Program. I also am a member of the Adjunct Faculty for the Maricopa Community College District and hold Arizona Community College certification in Government Workforce Development and am a facilitator and instructor for the DiSC Personal Development Profile, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Managers, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Families, The Nobility of Policing, Blue Courage, The Five Choices and Leadership: Great Leaders, Great Teams, Great Results for Law Enforcement. I also am certified by the Institute of Cultural Affairs as a facilitator and have facilitated strategic planning sessions for The Arizona Town Hall and several law enforcement agencies in Arizona. A charter member of the International Law Enforcement Educators and Trainers’ Association (ILEETA), I serve on the leadership team for the DPS Peer Support Program and Critical Incident Stress Management Team (CISM), am certified by the International Critical Incident Stress Foundation and am a mediator for the Governor’s Office of Equal Employment Opportunity. I also serve as the Coordinator of Operation 10-90 and have also served as the Coordinator of the DPS Chaplaincy Program.
