Helped build Risco La Sara oil & gas production startup company from the ground up, including the setup and refinement of all internal and outsourced accounting processes for AP, JIB, GL, AFE, Cash Management & Revenue, including severance tax payments & Production.Personally responsible to perform Production & Revenue Accountant duties, including: o Monitor daily production volumes input into Field Direct software by field personnel.o Allocate production and sales volumes monthly to individual wells for revenue and production processing. o Reconcile & verify monthly sales ticket volumes to purchaser revenue run statements.o Record revenue & handle royalty distributions.o Handle inquiries from purchasers & royalty owners.o Record all associated monthly revenue journal entries. o Monthly close processing & account reconciliations.• RRC Regulatory processes for online Production Report, permitting & form filing. • IHS Field Direct software implementation for management of production/operational data and monitoring of well activity. Also, personally responsible for end-user support & to use this software to:o Calculate inventory & file monthly Railroad Commission PR reports.o Analyze production volumes and sales monthly and create variance reports for management.

Outsourced to McMoran Oil to support accounting system end-users to perform their daily job duties relating to the Microsoft Dynamics PetroComp accounting applications; converted and developed Business Object reports to web-based XI version; developed Crystal reports. Acted as Accountant at Houston Oil to bring accounting records current from 8 month backlog for 6 different corporate entities. Automated manual AP system to QuickBooks. AP/JIB coding, weekly invoice payment selection & check processing, employee expense reports.Accounts Receivable & Revenue booking, processing for royalty payments and resposible for monthly PR reporting to RRC. Daily Cash schedule postings, all bank account activity including stop payments, ACH files, created & posted GL entries, created cash projection reports, and performed monthly bank reconciliations.

•Supported PetroComp accounting system end-users.•Functioned as Revenue & Production Accountant; responsible for Oildex revenue setup; Performed corrections to transmission files; reconciled AR to GL accounts; reconciled production volumes to revenue; bank statement reconciliations; AP processing. •Converted and uploaded all acquisition data into system, which included all well information, division of interests, and historical revenue data for 20 acquisitions.•Project Manager during the system conversion from a DOS to Windows environment of Dynamics SL & PetroComp Oil & Gas software. •Created additional SQL databases to assist in faster reporting and distribution of information to all departments; handled internal and external data information requests using Transact-SQL queries; designed and wrote requirements for contract programmers to create additional programs to enhance productivity and output of information from Microsoft Dynamics SL database warehouse;
