Co-Created and Direct a 501(c)3 Cancer Foundation based in Garden City, New York whose achievements include: formation of The Miracle Foundation Palliative Care Center on Long Island, New York; creating The Miracle Foundation Pavilion/Memorial Sloan Kettering cancer treatment center at Mercy Hospital; the financing of breakthrough research by Dr. Bert Vogelstein of Johns Hopkins which has led to Phase I Clinical trials for end stage cancer patients, underwriting and fully funding "Back in The Game", an innovative physical therapy and strength training program for pediatric cancer patients. Have provided a full time Child Life Specialist at the Cancer for Kids in Mineola, New York for the past eight years, totalling $400,000. Previous accomplishments also include granting $300,000 to Dr.David Abramson of MSKCC for the development of a revolutionary new prototype of the prosthetic eye and funding a $20,000 founding grant to establish The Morgan Center, a preschool on Long Island for immune supressed children.
