I met clients, discussed their physical and spiritual needs and determined the areas in which Lifeline Ministries could help. If needed, I referred clients to other area resources that may be able to fulfill their requirements. Clients who were seeking employment were directed to job openings and/or training resources available. At the conclusion of each meeting, we prayed together about the issues that had been discussed.

Three Rivers Middle School

I was an Intervention Specialist, and taught 5th, 6th, & 7th graders at Three Rivers Middle School. My duties were identical to those at Charles T. Young Elementary, also in the Three Rivers Local School District.

As an Intervention Specialist in the Three Rivers School District, I taught students with Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in a variety of settings, including but not limited to: Co-Teaching (full-time in the regular classroom), Resource Room (part-time work with students in a separate classroom for specific subjects), and Inclusion at a specific grade level (time spent in classrooms during the day with regular educators where my students were included). I planned, wrote, scheduled meetings, made weekly phone calls, and met with parents, classroom teachers, and administrators in order to facilitate appropriate IEPs and their implementation for each student on my caseload. I am also certified to administer testing to individual or groups of students ranging from academic achievement tests to high stakes (NCLB) tests.
