My position was created at a time of extreme financial stress when the company cash was very scarce. I managed and forecasted cash for the future 13 weeks with weekly updates so the CEO could see the date projected to run out of cash. Weekly, I met with key business managers from marketing and operations to identify which bills to pay now versus which bills to postpone. Later, the company decided to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy through which I continued managing and forecasting cash. Before I left, we had emerged out of bankruptcy and cash was plentiful again.
