Execute the implementation of a statistical tracking system within the existing accounting information system; which improves the integrity of statistical data and reduces the monthly reporting efforts for all accountants throughout the corporation. Future phases of this project will provide all financial report users with up-to-the minute reporting at their finger tips.Provide financial assistance to various continuous improvement efforts including Six Sigma and processing operations 5'S efforts and am a member of the 5'S steering team. Provide backup for the maintenance of the cost system including the development of new cost standards.

Responsible for providing support to the Accounting Manager and accounting department for day-today accounting activities, managing the month-end closing efforts and for improving the process flow within the Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Payroll functions. Created and maintained reports, models and databases streamlining daily activities in AR, AP and Payroll. Assisted in the development of the Payroll Access database which reduced weekly payroll processing by half a day.Created additional reports within the Payroll Access database to assist in the analysis of payroll data and to provide supervisors with timely reports. Lead the effort in the improvement and automation of freight invoice processing.
