I movedto Richmond to take a full-time position as creative director of Solutions Advisors Group, a marketing firm specializing in senior living, in 2019. My job at Solutions Advisors Group is multi-faceted; I work with the team on client communication, creative strategy, supervising free-lance vendors as well as creating a fair amount of the marketing communication in an art director role.

After working as an advertising agency as a creative director, I decided I needed a lifstyle change -- and moved to a small town in the Blue Ridge mountains, owning and running a horse stable as well as being a free-lance art director. I'm now back in Richmond, doing what I love -- creative director of a marketing agency specializing in senior living.

Starting as art director, I became creative director and vice president at the Barber Martin Agency in 2003. Originally a 5-man shop, Barber Martin became ranked as one of the top 5 agencies in Virginia in 2006. I managed creative teams, developed strategies and creative for new business pitches and for regional and national clients such as Friedmans Jewelers, Southern States, and Cato Fashions. I managed the creative on state accounts such as the Virginia Lottery and the Virginia Tobacco Settlement Foundation as well.
