Our mission is to cultivate wholeness in people and institutions for the transformation of communities. Much of our work takes place in the Texas Hill Country on 1,900 acres with a breathtaking stretch of the Frio River Canyon. There, we run five programs—a youth camp, a family camp, an adult retreat center, an outdoor education initiative, and a camp offering free facility use to select groups. In addition, we have initiatives in San Antonio and Real County focused on serving vulnerable families and children, including capacity-building for nonprofits, mental health research, and storytelling for narrative change.In my role, I work in tandem with a range of Foundation stakeholders to deliver consistent communications across our programs and initiatives. My team includes designers, writers, and producers of multi-media initiatives, and we believe that every touch-point of our brand and our story matters—emails, web pages, social media posts, print pieces, t-shirts, and more. We develop strategies and creative solutions for all of it, and we care about the details of our work. The longer we do this, the more we find that all of these platforms are story platforms, so whether we're producing a beautiful video about an experience at our camp, a long feature for our print magazine, or a brief email to a subset of our audience, we work to ensure that people experience a narrative depth and richness that expresses our mission.

Bondfire Books is a startup ebook company based in Colorado. We're publishing novels, serialized fiction, journalism, personal essays, and much more.
