My role as Pass Programs manager was a public programs manager role. Much of this time was spent working with social workers, law enforcement, etc. on various things, such as assisting people who needed crisis intervention find safe placement for their pets while they sought help, placement of animals experiencing neglect or abuse, raising pet deposits for people so they wouldn't have to surrender pets, assisting domestic violence victims in finding temporary fosters for their pets so they could get to a safe house, as well as re-homing pets when people could not keep them. I built a social media network of over 60K members who assisted greatly in all of these efforts. In addition I was a speaker at several national conferences.

I managed a group of 20+ volunteers and we handled all incoming calls and emails from the public wishing to adopt dogs and cats, processed returns, handled foster inquiries, etc.
