Skills vs talent - I have a talent for learning new software quickly, and look forward to the challenge of doing so. I've worked across various industries in my professional career - retail sales, banking, auto auctions, and telecommunications. In each of the various industries over the years, I would advanced to management positions within 18/24 months of becoming a F/T with the company, until I made a specific choice to no longer pursue those roles. I'd rather remain an individual contributor where my talents and skills are best used.While I have no formal training as an instructor, I do enjoy teaching, coaching, etc. Just showing someone a shortcut in Excel makes me smile if it makes their job easier.
