Employment Specialist
Current• Provide individualized job-coaching support to students with disabilities who are graduating, including vocational exploration, assessment and training in a real-life work setting.• Identify potential employers within the community, and develop potential job opportunities for program participants.• Instruct students in supplemental skills, including self-advocacy skills, life skills & social skills.• Complete formal and informal progress assessments, and communicate findings to PPS team colleagues and supervisors, students, families, community agencies and IEP teams as needed.
