About Patricia Meyer

In 2001, my husband and I discovered a dilapidated mansion in the middle of a park. I decided to head up a community restoration project -- and the rest, as they say, is history. Now, as project manager for the Felt Estate, I speak throughout the State of Michigan on historic preservation, volunteering, and restoration for adaptive reuse.I am also co-owner of Creative Kids, llc a Reggio-Emilia child learning center in Hudsonville, MI. My dream is to open a center in every major city so that we can raise the early literacy scores and truly make a difference in the lives of children and the quality of their education.Specialties: 2005 Citizen of the Year for the Michigan Historic Preservation NetworkRecently completed a restoration project in Hudsonville that qualified for Federal Historic Tax Credits
