I use my hospitality industry experience encompassing corporate and association meeting and incentive planning, hotel convention services and destination management services to produce events that inspire, engage and educate. What sets me apart:*I am a strategic thinker, developing, marketing and fulfilling programs that motivate people to learn and achieve more. *I am a very well-organized event authority, having managed complete logistics and details for high-level Board of Director Meetings as well as back-to-back conferences with 7,000 to 10,000 total attendees and budgets up to $10MM. *I am a proven manager, coordinating up to 60+ seasonal regional meetings along with multiple VIP committee and officer programs. *I am a respected leader, building relationships and supervising direct reports and third-party vendors as well as inter-departmental and volunteer teams to produce excellent events.My strengths include contract negotiation, budgeting, content marketing, program design and development, tracking achievement/attendance to forecast, monitoring potential attrition, facilitating all aspects of planning, staffing and follow-up. I enjoy writing and editing event and content descriptions, marketing and promotional materials, and web pages.I am devoted to my husband and two daughters, love to scrapbook to chronicle our family experiences, watch movies, read books and, on occasion, play my violin. I began my love of travel at 16, touring Europe with the Oak Park River Forest High School orchestra, and solidified it on an educational trip to the Soviet Union while in college. I started event planning as Social Director for my sorority, interned for a registration company and traveled to Toronto to run registration for my first business trip, and found my career. I bring dedication, professionalism and creativity to the table.I'm a glass-is-half-full person and my passport is current. I'm ready to get on a plane and make travel memories again!
