As a Learning Consultant I partner with clients on their training program through the phases of site design, implementation, and measurement. During the site design phase I work with the client to set-up their site, determine business and training goals and site usage goals We also discuss how the site will be marketed to ensure usage. During the implementation phase I work with clients to load learner information and select courses. During the measurement phase the client and I review site goals and usage data. At this point training goals are updated based on changes that have occurred in the clients business and training goals.

The Instructional Design position encompassed interviewing Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and studying client source material in order to create Instructional Design Documents and course audio scripts. These scripts were used to create storyboards and record audio for custom courses. While in this position I wrote audio scripts on a vast array of topics that spanned from behavioral interviewing techniques to steps on submitting a stock bid or option using the Schwab online system to Sun Microsystem quarterly updates.

This position consisted of conducting needs analysis, client interviews, determining training goals and objectives, and writing course scripts and storyboards. Aftter studying client resources and communicating with SMEs regarding content the next step was to create audio scripts using a storyboard format. The storyboards included the training narration and directions to graphic artists and programmers.
