Patty is a public policy and government relations professional with 20 years experience creating opportunities for clients to shape international policy and regulation that support market access for innovations which drive growth and commercial competitiveness.She does so by forging partnerships that tackle shared challenges and create shared value -- working with governments, intergovernmental organizations, the private sector, academia, and NGOs. The partnerships Patty has been involved in include: Americas RISE for Health; the Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation; the Global Food Safety Partnership; and several initiatives in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) forum (promoting regulatory harmonization for medical products, business ethics, digital skills, women's health and economic empowerment, and international scientific collaboration). As a policy professional Patty is unique in that she brings business executive experience, having managed a $400 million global business at The Estee Lauder Companies (a Fortune 500 company). Patty is co-author of three published Harvard Business School case studies on how companies engage the political system. She serves on the Board of Ambassadors of The Washington Ballet and speaks Mandarin Chinese and French. Patty resides in Washington DC with her husband and three children.
