I provide independent advice and training to rural and agricultural communities regarding IoT systems design, fit-for-purpose hardware recommendations and networking within our Australian Agtech industry.

I work to help businesses, communities and regions make the most of the digital economy and technologies on offer. My passion is for rural and regional Queensland, bridging the digital divide that exists across Queensland.I especially love working with those that would love to use digital to their full potential but don't have the access to the technology & means (for whatever reason). Just as rewarding is opening the eyes and minds of those that have the access and don't use it to their full potential.One of my current projects is demonstrating IoT in Agriculture using LoRaWAN technology. We are using low cost sensors such as weather stations, tank sensors, pest traps, soil mositure etc to demonstrate cost savings and improved decision making with improved data gathering and analysis.

This Digital Economy Working Group aims to raise awareness of the digital economy in the region and develop networks across sectors for improving collaboration and innovation.
