Paul is a Founding Partner and active investor with Par Equity, one of the UK's top performing Venture Capital firms, supporting high grow technology businesses in the North of the UK. He also provides guidance and advice to other business Founders. In particular he is an NXD and former Chair of digital engineering business, CreateFuture and also Chairs Infinitx, which includes, the JP Jenkins private capital markets platform. Paul also Chairs the Taranata Group of businesses, which he founded.His pro-bono activities include being Chair of the Cyber & Fraud Centre Scotland, providing cyber and fraud support to Scottish organisations. He is also a Chair of the Scottish Forestry Trust.Paul is a Manchester University Physics graduate and a visiting Professor at Edinburgh Napier University Business School, as well as being a Fellow of The Royal Society of Edinburgh.
