This role was a one year contract to assist in the transition from a retiring CEO whilst the board found a Sydney based CEO.My role positioned the company to achieve a record profit result whilst instigating a paradigm shift in the business mix away from low margin commodity home wares products to high margin licensed products. Key achievements in this role included the negotiation of the Scanpan Distribution Rights for cookware in North America, development and implementation of a warranty reduction program for North America which resulted in a 50% drop in warranty returns, instigation of an aggressive inventory reduction program in North America which resulted in a 50% reduction in obsolete inventoryUnder my leadership the distribution in the USA was broadened to include Costco and Dillards and a plan to double the export sales to Russia ($40 million plus) in 2008/2009 was instigated.
