Introduced automated quality checks into the build process to reduce defect rates and cycle times. Changed integration processes that reduced release timeframes to less than 30 days.

Conducted an architectural evaluation of the existing legacy batch based rating system to determine its suitability to support the strategic expansion of Cricket's 4G Network. The head of architecture was interested in using the Business Process (eTOM), Information (SID), and Application (TAM) Frameworks from the TM Forum as tools for Cricket's architecture. The Recommendation followed the language of those frameworks and suggested a transition to a strategic realtime rating system. An lightweight RFP was conducted across existing Cricket vendors and a solution was selected.

Successfully combined two diverse development groups across 6 sites and 3 countries into a single unit responsible for over 1500 systems. Transformed software delivery by rolling out use of Scrum across the enterprise. Restructured development group of 500+ into teams aligned to both the business units and to the new Enterprise Architecture that ensured delivery of corporate services strategy and application rationalization.

Created the practices and principles used by BT in governing the rollout of its SOA / SDK strategy across its platform architecture. Created the role of Chief Data Architect to define BT's canonical data model used by inter platform services and drive its adoption and evolution. Created the role of Chief Integration Architect to ensure the use of appropriate syntactical and semantical models for information interchange.

Driving creative force behind BT's ground-breaking and award-winning Web21c programmable telecommunications API & SDKs. The first Software as a Service platform and the first telecommunications company to embrace the concepts of Web 2.0 and the power of exposing its network over the web.
