I oversee insurance and contractual risk allocation for global infrastructure projects, making sure that regional and international regulations were followed. To comply with legal requirements, I integrate local insurance policies with extensive global insurance programmes and I meet a variety of insurance and risk management demands by offering broad global support, reducing legal and financial risks by complying with regional regulations and global insurance policies. Through considered stakeholder engagement, I create and lead internal training programmes on risk management, insurance and related insurance contract frameworks.Furthermore, I streamlined the administration of both national and international insurance programmes. I worked directly with project teams, brokers, and underwriters to customise insurance strategies that would improve stakeholder satisfaction and project risk profiles. To further improve project results, I also developed new risk management strategies and oversaw insurance strategies for several significant infrastructure projects, ensuring strong risk transfer and comprehensive coverage. My careful documentation made it easier for the risk management department to make decisions in an open and transparent manner.

I was an onsite consultant on large-scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East, with a focus on creating strong insurance policies. I created and carried out insurance strategies for well-known projects such as the Doha Rail project and the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, concentrating on efficient risk control for these multibillion-dollar initiatives. I oversaw insurance issues during the construction process as an embedded insurance manager for Qatar 2022, making sure that all national and international regulations were followed.I also provided tailored insurance solutions to satisfy the requirements of significant infrastructure development projects. I worked closely with project teams to streamline insurance management and provide specialised insurance solutions for complex projects involving several stakeholders while I was on a two-year secondment from Aon Corporation to Qatar 2022. Through careful risk assessments and well-thought-out insurance preparation, my efforts reduced legal and financial risks and improved overall project risk profiles. In addition, I facilitated transparent decision-making in project teams through detailed record-keeping.

I oversaw contractual risk and global insurance, concentrating on projects in several industries throughout the Middle East and Europe. I provided insurance solutions for large-scale infrastructure projects, including civil infrastructure, water and sewer systems, and power plants. One of my responsibilities was to negotiate risk assignments for complex tunnelling projects, such as the London Crossrail and Thames Tideway projects, and the ADSSC STEP project in Abu Dhabi.Additionally, I created and implemented insurance strategies to improve risk management through Professional Indemnity (PI) insurance for high-profile projects such as the construction of London's 2012 Olympics. Working together with underwriters, brokers, and project teams, I tailored insurance solutions to satisfy legal requirements and project-specific specifications.
