Backup Support Engineer
Current- Provide Commvault product support for customers through various channels: Phone, Mailbox, Chat, and Email.
- Besides creating tickets and routing them to focus groups, was also engaged in installing IDataAgents, and troubleshooting network connectivity between components like the CommServer, MediaAgent, Client, and Storage.
- Helped customers fix Backup and Restore and other jobs failing using logs and other tools in the CommCell.
- Researched fixes using documents and solved tickets.
- Assisted customers configure CommCell, network connection settings between components, and jobs schedules.
- Assisted in installing and configuring backups for services like Microsoft Active Directory, Exchange Server, and SharePoint Server.
