Paul AZZOPARDI is a urban engineer graduated from the Urban Systems department of Engineering at the University of Technology of Compiegne, France and holds a Master's degree in Physical Ambiances for Architecture & Urbanism at the National School of Architecture & Landscape of Bordeaux, France.After being manager of the department of urban modeling, manager of the research and development department at Elioth, and deputy of the foresight studies department of Egis group, he decides to found ABF-LAB. Specialized in physical ambiances, its main topics of research are bioclimatic issues, cities resilience and adaptation to climate change.He just achieve to publish in 2012 an handbook related to envelope design through the prism of energy and climate and a second one on Climatic Resilience issues under the direction of Raphael Menard at Egis.He is also contributor at the architecture school of Marne-la-Vallée and at the National Architecture School of Paris-Belleville.
