I recently completed an assignment with Ausgold Limited providing project management support for the Katanning Gold Project Definitive Feasibility Study. Looking for opportunities.

My role consisted of the provision of review, direction and assistance with project development and management activities throughout the business. I managed various project studies through to final FEED stage of implementation. I have recently carried out a strategic review of a major mineral processing project on behalf of the receiver/managers.

I was a member of the Brockman Executive Management team and my prime role was managing project studies from Pre-feasibility through to Bankable for the 20 Mtpa Marillana Iron Ore Project. This included the selection and engagement of various consultants for engineering, environmental assessment, risk management and peer review. I also participated in negotiations for Native Title Agreements and with Department of State Development for project and infrastructure development approvals. I was the Brockman representative on the North West Infrastructure alliance with Atlas Iron, which held an allocation of 50 Mtpa shipping capacity in Port Hedland. Show less

The role provided leadership of Project Engineering Services Group (100 people). Managing engineering and project management resources across various projects and locations and providing feasibility study support for a number of projects.The team established Engineering Service Agreements with Rio Tinto Pilbara Iron Operations and BHP Ravensthorpe Nickel Operations.

I was requested by the owners of Calibre to undertake the establishment of a new Brisbane regional office for the business. Activities included Business Development, Staff Recruitment and Engineering & Business systems implementation. I established key relationships within the local resources sector including Anglo Coal, BMA Coal, MacArthur Coal, Leighton Contractors.

My responsibilities included the EPCM management of the RTIO West Angelas process plant stockyard and infrastructure expansion. The project requirement was to increase production throughput to 25 Mt/a using progressive brownfields construction shut downs of the operating iron ore processing plant. The project also included the procurement and delivery of additional HME for the mine expansion. Total Capital value approx $200M.

My responsibilities included the overall project management of two projects for Rio Tinto. The first project was an EPC contract for the Brockman No2 Plant Upgrade which consisted of design, procurement and lump sum construction of a major overhaul and expansion of the existing processing plant and infrastructure. Work included banana screen replacements, additional fines circuit and major upgrade to crushing circuit.
