Red Lantern Labs provides value-add telematics solutions for the recreational vehicle (RV) industry. The platform is expanding to other verticals such as the marine and rental equipment industries. Red Lantern Labs provides valuable equipment management services for mobile assets throughout their entire lifecycle. This includes providing unique real-time GPS information, alerts, notifications and data mining/analysis to all the asset’s stakeholders (Lenders, OEMs, Dealers, Rental Fleet Operators and Consumers).• Responsibilities included on-time and on/under budget delivery of our software systems and user- facing, web-based applications.• Performed database and systems architecture and provided REST services and API’s for internal and partner integrations.• Developed the Mobile Asset State and Status Detection System. The system receives GPS and other information from a mobile asset via the cellular network. Each event is evaluated against a set of predefined rules within the asset’s current state. This intelligent analysis allows the asset to transition through its lifecycle and provides its commercial stakeholders with real-time information such as dealer arrival, low battery indicators, entrance into restricted zones, excessive speed, unit sold, unit’s presence at a service facility, etc. Consumer information includes alarm, real-time location, service reminders and low battery indicators. A provisional patent application was submitted in 2011.• Worked with partners to provide custom solutions within our systems.

kidthing, often described as iTunes® for kids, was an innovative digital media platform created for the purchase, consumption and creation of children’s content for ages three to eleven. kidthing’s content partners included Dr. Seuss, Garfield and National Geographic amongst others.• Responsible for the design, development, security and maintenance of all application and data systems.• Created and maintained public and private storefronts featuring real-time credit card processing, content reacquisition, order history, gifting and coupon redemption.• Created web services layer for consumption by kidthing’s client application and third party partners, including content purchasing, distribution/fulfillment and social features such as friends and sharing.• Tasked with providing a child-safe online environment through the exposure of extensive parental controls and offensive word filtering.• Responsibilities to the business for data reporting, metrics gathering, analysis and mining.• Developed a content creation, management and publishing system used by internal staff andexternal partners.• Managed 2 direct reports.
