- I was responsible for ensuring IT delivers strategic and tactical benefits to the company as a whole. - Responsible for the management of the infrastructure and operations of all computing services for the 100-employee company in multiple geographic locations.- Responsible for defining and setting IT Policies and Procedures for corporate computing.- Implemented several strategic projects including a corporate Intranet, corporate VPN access and web-based e-mail access.- Successfully merged and integrated an acquired company’s IT infrastructure into the existing corporate infrastructure in a very timely manner with limited downtime and under budget.

- I was co-responsible for the Interim Environment of the Government of Manitoba contract, including managing and directing LMS and DSS staff, alongside the Team Leader.- Assumed the majority of the Team Leader’s responsibilities during his vacation absence.- Managed and deployed staff to respond to trouble tickets and client project requests while ensuring coverage at all client sites.- Managed and Coordinated Severity 1,2,3 and 4 situations to ensure the timely resolution of the problem and communicating to all interested parties the situation status as required.- Liaison with the client on all issues including problems, special projects and staffing concerns and requirements.

- I was responsible for the acquisition, implementation and maintenance of server technologies across the entire enterprise; Head Office, 7 Branch offices and 190 remote Northern stores as part of a 4-member team.- Lead hardware specialist for all HP Intel server technology- Solely responsible for the company wide e-mail system - Project Manager for the 1 year, $500,000 implementation of a Remoteware 3-server cluster to provide remote management and communication with our 190 stores. Tasks included coordinating resources from many IT and non-IT departments as well as scheduling and performing all technical tasks.- Other projects managed included a Novell to NT server conversion, a 1-year project comprised of replacing over 50 servers in 8 separate geographic locations.- Developed and implemented the standards for new servers and the server infrastructure, as well as analyzed for E-mail growth.

Provided remote phone support to over 1000 users across Canada for any hardware and software problems.- Project managed and implemented new PC networks in 25 cities in a 9-month project. Sole responsibilities included complete data migration and upgrading of pre-existing PCs to new state-of-the-art systems, installation of new file servers, configuration of new PCs and complete training of all users, ranging from 10 to 50 in any given city.
