The Liverpool factory print and convert a variety of papers, tissue and Florist films for the food, retail, education and industrial sectors.To improve margins and profits the Group aquired from the liquidator the supplier of the printed films and tissue products and moved into manufacturing. The role setting was too set up manufacturing process and systems to take the factory through to BRC certification, including Health & Saftey policies, risk assessments and safe operating procedures for all machines and processses.Reorganised the shop floor and brought in 2 new machines a high speed printing press and sheeter which doubled the capacity of the factory.Enabled the group to close 2 subsidaries and reorganised the warehouse to facilitate an additional 200 pallet spaces and 2 new picking facilities for single item picking. managed the stock control function through excell.
