-Research and source products and services according to engineering project needs-Coordinate with Engineering and Purchasing departments to obtain required products and services-Compile, review, and maintain product data, price lists, reports, and records-Review requisitions and product specifications for terminology and accuracy-Inspect product/material and verify paperwork upon receipt of purchase orders-Maintain records of various part and vendor data,depending on project requirements, for traceabilityand historical reference to support change of scoperequests and obsolescence tracking-Conduct parts and material data entry into multiplecustom Logistics Management Information (LMI)databases and maintain databases with currentspecification and inventory information-Conduct regular physical inventories/audits

- Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to discuss needs.- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media, and internet sites; providing organization information, opportunities, and benefits- Attracts applicants by placing job advertisements, contacting recruiters, and using newsgroups and job sites.- Determines applicant qualifications by screening applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references, and comparing qualifications to job requirements.- Evaluates applicants by discussing job requirements and applicant qualifications with managers and screening applicants on a consistent set of qualifications.- Facilitate the offer process by extending the offer and negotiation employment terms- Stay abreast of recruiting trends and best practices- Help to manage the overall interview, selection, and closing process- Ensure all screening, hiring, and selection is done in accordance with employment laws and regulations

Assist customers via phone and email with inquiries including track and tracing multiple TL and LTL shipments, rate quotes, and billing and/or invoicing questionsResponsible for TL and LTL required pickup and delivery within the U.S., Canada, and MexicoGenerate, maintain, and manage various reports to ensure timely pick up, delivery, and profitability by staying in continuous contact with the carrier and any customer personnel

Communicate with customers and employers about project, event, or campaign expectations and set upHandles all Student Center executive events according to customer plans and specifications

Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipmentsCreated and managed an individual portfolio of accounts while working in a team environmentResponsible for helping customers move their inventory in the most cost effective way, and working to build a strong working relationship
