The project was provided by BearingPoint Consultants Ltd and had me examine the feasibility of a self-service application for their client, The Irish Rugby Football Union. I managed the project throughout and dealt with stakeholders in both the IRFU and BearingPoint. The project offered a great opportunity to learn new skills and technologies. So that my work could be continued after I graduated I developed the application using the Ionic platform, this required me to quickly learn Angular.js. The benefit was that it allowed it to be further developed to either iOS or Android. A copy of my final report is attached

I was responsible for the overall running of Trinities colleges largest sports club with over 1200 members.As part of my role I organised a trip for 500 students to the French Alpes. This involved meeting with many Tour Operators and negotiating a contract with our members interests in mind. Managing a trip of this nature requires a high level of stakeholder management. Ensuring that all stakeholders interests are looked after and that a suitable outcome is obtained when there are conflicting interests.To ensure the club operated at its full potential the management of the rest of the 11 committee members was crucial. In order for us to work as a productive team I needed to delegate tasks and facilitate all of the committee in there roles.

I was in charge of all competitive aspects of the club. I co-ordinated events such as inter varsities and colours on the clubs behalf.I was also responsible for the safety of all 500 students that we brought on our ski trip. I provided a safety talk prior to the trip and also worked with the tour operator to ensure safety was the number one priority.

I was an elected representative for my class. As part of my role I represented my classes interests at Student Union Councils and MSISS Committee meetings.

I was responsible for a Team 3 others, My responsibility was to ensure that my team members were performing to a high standard. This meant that they were equipped with all relevant materials and uniform whilst representing the brand.

I was responsible for making sure the bar maintained stock levels and that all beer taps were working. Working in a busy Dublin pub showed me that things do not always go as smoothly as expected and as a result i learned a lot about thinking on my feet and dealing with problems as they came to me.
