To proactively anticipate the Risk from a Clients inception with us to determine whether the account has been fraudulently created, taking action when fraud is determined or suspected. A large part of my role is differentiating between credit, fraud and compliance loss, assisting First Data our processor or the card brands if any fraud/compliance risk is determined. To manage an extensive portfolio of diverse MPA`s(Merchant Processing Account) which cover all the spectrum's of credit card processing, from MOTO, Keyed, Retail, Restaurant and E-commerce. With the diversity within my portfolio each sub-category of merchant processing mentioned previously is accompanied with different dynamics of Risk. It is my duty to manage and adjust processing parameters for over 5000+ Merchant accounts, in order to mitigate the Risk Exposure to the company.Building reserves when a loss is anticipated to lower the exposure to the company.
