Worked on Preventive Maintenance projects for NYC DOT BRIDGES. Our Movable Bridges Project MAINTAINED Approximately 27 movable bridges over a 3 year contract that we bid and were awarded at a total of $12,000,000.00 Plus Price tag. During the same time period Preventive maintenance of NYC’s East River Bridges ( 59th St. Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, Williamsburg Bridge & Brooklyn Bridge) project was awarded to us as a 3 year preventive maintenance contract as well, With a $20,000,000.00 plus price tag. We Were than awarded the job a second term after the first contract was completed successfully and expired. During this time maintenance on all bridges consisted of Being power washed from columns, main roadway, structural steel as well as under decking of the entire span of all bridges once a year. Every 3 months removing, cleaning and RE greasing of all expansion joints on bridges needed to be scheduled with D. O. T. AS WELL AS OUR LABOR FORCE. Cleaning and unclogging debris from draining system and catch basins was also scheduled and performed every 3 months on all bridges. I performed safety meetings and informed labor force of scope of work daily. Noted attendance and time sheets daily as well as communicating this with the main office as well as ensuring the main office always received signed safety meeting topics as well as time sheets. Maintained fleet of commercial vehicles and equipment as well as keeping inventory lists to always make sure the correct material was available to keep all scheduled work on schedule.
