Promoting a positive health and safety behavioural based culture within the organisation and developing and implementing programmes which facilitate this including roll out of behavioural based programme.Providing specialist health and safety advice & training including new employee induction, contractor induction, permit to work systems, explosive atmospheres and manual handling.Managing environmental, health and safety programmes including contractor safety, permit to work, lock out/tag out, confined space and ATEX. Maintaining the site Environmental Management programme to ensure compliance with corporate & statutory (IPPC)requirements. Reviewing site specific risk assessments, method statements and systems of work and provide advice on improvements required. Compile monthly EHS reports(KPI’s) for the site and ensuring these are communicated to relevant parties.Ensure systems relating to contractor management and hazardous work tasks are comprehensive, audited and fully effective.Site DGSA over seeing hazardous waste shipments for the site.Completing accident and near miss investigations and identifying preventive and corrective actions. Representing EHS at project team meetings and ensuring the all environmental, health and safety considerations are identified. Involvement in the specification, procurement and maintenance of personal protective devices.
