I am an experienced Part 66 licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer, diligent Part 21 Certification Verification Engineer, effective Airworthiness Manager, inspirational Training Instructor and creative Designer, skilled in aircraft certification, compliance, managing safety, flight testing, electronics and electrical engineering, product design & development, project engineering & management.During my 39 year career to date, I have had the privilege of leading passionate and talented teams of academics, engineers, managers, design, innovation, finance, sales & marketing experts that have completed many great achievements. The latest is the completion of a Scientific Research programme in Otic Barotrauma and from it created a world first patented, MHRA registered Class 1 Medical Device AirDrate Rehydrating Ear Plugs that stop inflight ear Pain. The team have just taken the product and Brand (AirDrate) to market. Following a consultancy and Airworthiness Compliance Manager Post & Auditor assignment to the new startup airline Hans Airways, I am proud to also currently support Hans Airways in the capacity of Director of Continuing Airworthiness Management where I also hold the CAA Form 4 post of Continuing Airworthiness Manager & Arc Extension Signatory. I have previously held the CAA Form 4 posts with other Air Operators in the Role of Quality Manager, Continuing Airworthiness Manager, Continuing Airworthiness Coordinator and acting Compliance & Safety Manager.My experience of operating for 32 years in a performance-based oversight environment has been gained while practicing Aeronautical Engineering, Continuing Airworthiness, Initial Airworthiness and Air Operations in CAA & MAA approved SME, large, military and volunteer organisations.
