Leading a collaboritive Programme of work with multiple Project teams delivering on behalf of the Data and Insights group within the Ministry of Education.

Delivering Project Management services with the Evidence, Data and Knowledge (EDK) team inside of the Ministry of Education.Leading EDK activities required to support the COVID Response Team, as well as being the lead for the Salesforce case management solution for Regional and National office staff and fronting critical reporting to Internal and External stakeholders including the Ministers office and Media.

Accountable for delivering a Data Integration Platform to support the new Grants funding platform under development within the Digital Transformation Programme. The foundational cloud platform implemented is scalable and ready to be extended across the ecosystem, while the Integration patterns developed are also ready for reuse.This work was over a year in the making as started off with a ‘Better Business Case’, procurement RFP with Vendor selection and recruitment of the core project team. In parallel led the generation of a Business Case focused on an uplift of Data Capability to enable key operational and strategic drivers for Callaghan Innovation.

Accountable for the year long delivery of a project to replace the legacy fuel logistics scheduling system, used to optimise movement of fuel daily from A to Z across the country. This required significant management of internal resources as well as the offshore software Vendors, alongside core project deliverable such as Steering Groups, Risk Reviews, Budgets and Project Planning. Critical solution leveraged by Z's third party trucking partner to safely and efficiently deliver fuel to service stations and customers requiring significant business change management and communications oversight as well as a successful cut-over during COVID-19 lock down and subsequent handover to operations.Initially managed the delivery of 8 months worth of post project work to stabilise the ERP implementation, reducing reduce complexity and challenges with productivity within the Finance department as well as delivering enhanced reporting requirements for the business.

Leader of IT work stream to deliver a major JD Edwards upgrade, focused to successfully hit an aggressive go-live target of November 2017. Managed key staff from the internal IT team as well as leveraging external expertise from both Deloitte and Tenzing.

Leader of the 30+ strong ICT team within the Programme of Work to transition Chevron NZ into the Z Energy business (including PM's, BA's, Tech Leads, Developers and Testers). Ensuring that the ICT capabilities focused on enhancing the existing IT environments within Z Energy so that on Day 1 the new business would be able to; 1) deliver fuel safely, 2) invoice customers and 3) pay suppliers.

Performed the acting Head of IT role while the new CIO role for Z Energy went to market. Coincided with leading the IT teams due diligence work on Z's acquisition of the downstream Chevron NZ business (Caltex).

Delivered on a unique opportunity creating a standalone Service Desk operation based out of the Wellington office, the first of such outside of the core team of 100+ based in Auckland. Key startup clients were Z Energy and Ngai Tahu.
