Responsibilities include the following :Heading up of engineering team for the group.Installation and relocation of multi million pound printing presses and plant.Property acquisitions and relocations to include legal’s /building components and contracts/corporate compliance throughout the group (Recently having joint overall responsibility with the financial director for project leading Delta`s flagship 20 million pounds building acquisition in Waltham Cross area with 2.5 million pound internal office build prior to occupation).Maintaining all buildings within the group (two in London 400,000 sqft total/one in Dublin/two in Leeds plus offices in Scotland and Los Angeles).Group Fleet management to include purchase and daily management of 80+ strong car and van fleet.Group insurance to include renewal process annually and claims administration of Public/ Employee Liability and fleet.Tendering of company health Care scheme and facilities contractual services for the group (include electricity acquisition within the region of 750 k annually).Technical involvement in client tendering processes (all blue chip companies).Enforcement and compliance of ISO14001 across the group to include audits and renewals of certification.• Accounts management of invoices and service level agreements on a daily basis.• Property management of the owner’s private premises and grounds.• I have reasonable strategic input across the business and into most departmental structure and planning requirements.

• Head of engineering for a 22 acre site with 2500 staff (Head office and factory for Global business).• Manage a 40 strong engineering team comprising of multiple trades.• Build and manage good working relationships with senior staff and departments.• Implement and maintain record systems for legal compliance and permit to work systems.• Monitor and maintain safe working procedures for all engineers working within our Zone 1 flameproof factory environment.• Planning and installation of plant and machinery.• Maintain stock and order requirements for large stores area.• Planning and implementation of the world’s first fully robotic chemical blending machine (Roxanne).• Management of engineering budgets.• After an aggressive purchase of the entire business I was tasked with managing redundancies within the engineering department and was one of two to project manage the decommissioning and eventual closure of the site. This included relocation of all machinery and offices over a 9 month period prior to my own redundancy.
