Paul Bunsell: Iris Policy, Founder and CEOPaul has twenty years of experience in developing public policy and communication solutions in highly political environments in Europe and Asia. He has advised United Nations Under-Secretary-Generals for Asia and the Pacific on communications, European Commissioners for financial services, a Eurogroup President during eurozone bailouts, British Treasury ministers on European budgets and a European Union Ambassador to China on economics and trade.In these roles, Paul has led front line diplomatic efforts with the Chinese government during the eurozone sovereign debt crisis, conducted direct negotiations with European capitals on EU budget contributions, developed communication strategies for Shell and Unilever across European markets, campaigned for Britain to remain in the European Union for a European Commissioner and modernised United Nations development outreach in Asia and the Pacific.Paul holds degrees from Oxford University (BA) and the London School of Economics (MSc) and a postgraduate diploma in Economic Policy from London University’s Centre for Financial and Management Studies.He founded Iris Policy in 2021 and splits his time between Beijing and Europe.
