Commercial/residential construction with an emphasis on building and remodeling luxury senior living communities, continuous care facilities, skilled nursing, multi-family construction and low income and HCR federally funded projects throughout the Northeast U.S. and Florida. Schedule and coordinate all phases of construction, responsible for all onsite tradesman. Perform weekly foreman's meetings, safety meetings and monthly requisition meetings. Taking on complex renovations in occupied facilities and formulating a logistical plan with the least disruption to residents. Review plans and subcontract agreements prior to job start and continually monitor for discrepancies. Maintain communication with architects, subcontractors, structural and civil engineers, client representatives, building officials, inspectors, and city officials. Determine scope of work and review with subcontractors to ensure manpower and understanding of all construction documents. Evaluate subcontractors' insurance prior to job start. Maintain daily activity reports. Schedule inspections and meet all code requirements. Push job schedule in an effort to conserve assets while maintaining high quality of work. Establish positive rapport with subcontractors to maximize their output. maintain all job files and documentation.
