My main role within the SSF Group is to source potential new clients, mainly for new commercial builds, with the company being able to offer a complete Design and Build package, if required. Other duties include the oversee of the Fabrication Shop production and Production Manager for the CE Accreditation, which covers the design and fabrication process of products, which includes structural steel work and staircases.

My main role within Raxton Limited, a company which designed and manufactured such products as Thread Adaptors, Cable Glands and Enclosure Drain Plugs, in the Hazardous Area Market Sector, was to grow the sales revenue in the UK, as well as some dealings with Export. This was mainly achieved by channel selling into companies, such as electrical wholesalers, stockists and distributors for the Raxton product range. In addition, I helped negotiate a contract to manufacture/supply thread adaptors, plus ancillary fittings such as earth tags, washers, locknuts etc, with a major cable gland manufacturer in the UK, which released their production to concentrate on their main product lines. This contract realised sales in excess of £1 million in its second full year of operation.My role also involved visiting overseas supply manufacturers, as well as representing the company at exhibitions in the UK, mainly Aberdeen, and overseas, including Norway and Brazil.I also sourced a new line of products, in the form of 316 stainless conduit tubing from overseas, for supply to companies in the UK.During my time with the company, the total sales income grew from approx. £1.7 million up to £4.2 million, whilst still maintaining the targetted 40% nett profit level.
