I helped develop innovative, new Industrial Collaboration Zones (ICZs) at the University of Salford to drive co-creation and production between academic staff, students and industry.Undertaking detailed strategic analysis in order to draft a University sports strategy and business case for investment as well as profiling the projects that will drive successful achievement of outcomes.I wrote the 2016/17 Annual Operating Plan setting the base and direction for the year.

I supported our Executive Team by designing and implementing successful annual business and operational plans, ensuring projects demonstrated strategic fit with long-term strategy, and building in a sound performance framework.I led on performance reporting for Directors, Committee and Council, introducing improved performance reporting, acting as lead author and holding 1-1 meetings with directors and managers to monitor goal achievement.I led the development and introduction of a new Risk Management Framework to drive greater assurance on risk mitigation for directors and both audit and performance committees. I acted as gatekeeper for the Corporate Risk Register, ensuring it reflected a true and realistic risk profile.Working closely with senior staff, I project managed the development of the GMC Corporate Strategy 2015-18 engaging with opinion formers to capture strategic priorities, present clear ideas and facilitate informed discussion. Accountability reporting - lead author for annual accountability reporting, received a Valued Award from my Chief Operating Officer for our 2013/14 outcome.Deliverer of directorate wide training and mentoring, for example, through Equality and Diversity Action Plans, Efficiency Programmes, and presenting at away day events.

Agency lead for annual, quarterly, and monthly performance and strategic risk reporting to directors and Board, covering annual budget of £400m, and over 1000 projects.Subject Matter Expert and leader of an Evaluation Programme measuring impact from projects and programmes covering £2 billion of public expenditure for Government. I co-ordinated the successful evaluation of 120 projects in five months using 20 different contractors.Developed evaluation guidance with HM Treasury and other Government stakeholders that was used nationally, and internally delivering regular in-house training sessions.Project appraiser of large investment projects and their respective monitoring and evaluation plans.Relationship building within local, regional and Government networks to share best practice.

Started a new intelligence function to drive development of higher quality research to support delivery of regional economic strategy and projects.I recruited and managed a team of economists and researchers to help review research, created bespoke analysis, create a regional network of partners and to provide signposts to information.Working with stakeholders, I identified an annual research programme and commissioned work to provide access to good quality intelligence.I marketed our services to stakeholders in road shows and conference presentations to generate funds and build peer review networks that would share data.
