CurrentKey Responsibilities: • Completing ongoing training courses involving safety, hazard control, leadership and teamwork.• Promoting the safety and life of property from natural disasters, accidents and other incidents involved in marine search and rescue operations.• Carrying out monitoring activities and marine search and rescue operations.• Carrying out boat side assistance operations.Key Achievements: • Completed ongoing training courses, including: Australian Inter-service Incident Management Systems, Child Safety, First Aid (CPR, Collar and Oxygen), Fatigue Management, and Seamanship (Safety Management Systems, Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Control, and Health and Safety Communication and Consultation).• Attended meetings involving committee management and constituting workplace policies.• Operated in a team environment where ongoing, clear and effective communication is crucial between all roles of operation while taking immediate instruction under management of a Skipper (Captain).• Carried out operations on a sea vessel, including: Spotting, radio signal navigations, radio communications systems, cartography and route planning, helm steering, open sea travel, vessel launching and mooring, and emergency operations including fire drills.
