    Supervise GIS Analyst/Engineering Interns. Manage student internship & provide mentorship to interns. Work with staff members, public, and other agencies/stakeholders. Plan, strategize, develop, evaluate, budget, manage, coordinate, implement & execute capital improvement projects on: Water/wastewater/reclaimed water/stormwater conveyance; New well & wastewater treatments/pump station retrofit; Transportation, traffic safety & pavement preservation; Public safety building seismic retrofit & landslide restoration.Managed consultant-led Sewerage & Stormwater Master Plans. Secured grants for:(a) Pedestrian railroad crossing on OR-219 (N College) with railroad collaboration. (I still have the photo taken that showed an elderly woman walking across the railroad tracks with her walker and that led me to securing and designing a safer railroad crossing for pedestrians.)(b) SRTS project on Deborah Road for Mabel Rush with School District collaboration.Other design experiences: Railroad spur/crossing design, SWM pond with 84” discharge/weirs/spillway/anti-seep collars, vegetated SWM forebay with gabions, large-scale erosion & sediment control, quarry reclamation, floodplain/floodway analysis, three-sided (bottomless) bridge crossing, stream restoration, culvert wall, storage bunker, retaining wall & land development/complete engineering for subdivisions.Favorite design project: Springbrook Road/Mountainview Drive (Middlebrook to Aspen), five-leg roundabout (expandable to 2 lanes) with bicycle lanes & sidewalks; 3,800 LF 24” DIP water; 1,800 LF 18” PVC sewer; 3,500 LF 10" purple pipe & 6,360 LF storm (10” to 30” diameters).Engineering is fun, rewarding, & a great contribution to the community.
