Paul runs a fire engineering consultancy with several engineers. Developing and delivering best practice solutions is important. Staff are encouraged to consider all aspects of effective delivery: knowledge and understanding, constraints of process and consider clients, colleagues, clear and sound reports and timelines.Paul was fortunate to be involved in some projects which introduced fire engineering into the country and other places. He saw what research and industry leaders thought was ideal and what they felt was achievable. He admired how they changed fire safety practice in the face of disbelief by many. And yet there continues to be aversion to developing processes that will deliver better safe cost-effective solutions that will grow opportunities for all.Sotera is based on the Gold Coast and undertakes projects in all states and occasionally overseas. Most of its projects are in southeast Queensland. It has been practicing for approx. 10 years undertaking all building classes and sizes.Paul provides specialist skill in structures, heat transfer and risk and is often requested to undertake non-standard projects.
