With over 15 years as a Chartered Accountant, I have dedicated myself to furthering my knowledge in all facets of the profession to ensure my advice to clients is based on the latest information and industry trends.As an amateur tech guru I have championed moving the CBC clients to cloud based products, and ensuring that all staff are Xero certified. This includes building platforms for the Director and Senior staff of CBC to provide more timely business advisory roles for our clients.With an interest in all things tax, I have presented technical papers at various conferences not only to promote my knowledge but also as a platform to share the latest information with my peers so that I can bring this back to the CBC clients.I have ensured that my experience is being transferred to the younger members of the profession through being part of the mentoring and technical team for the Institute of Chartered Accountants CA Programme. I also have a strong mentoring role within CBC and enjoy the social aspect of encouraging staff to be part of the CBC family.Married with a prospective tennis champion son, my interests outside of work include boxing, golf (caddying mainly for those with real ability!), tennis and general fitness pursuits.
